Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe named Pistol Annies, with Angaleena Presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, and then released her 2nd album, called Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016, she produced The Blade which was another highly acclaimed album. Ashley Monroe holds a position as Assistant Village manager for Riverside Illinois. She has more than 15 years' experience in the public sector including nearly five-year time within Iowa City. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager include management of the Community Development and Building Department managing grants, as well as completing specific initiatives. In Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of the village's services, while also working towards the vision for strategic planning of elected officials and the residents. Ashley's responsibilities include planning for municipal services, budgeting and management of personnel as well as collective bargaining. Ashley also focuses on the climate issues.
