Anneliese Louise van der Pol is a Dutch-born American actor and singer. She is best known for her work in theatre and for her role as Chelsea Daniels, the star of That's So Raven on Disney Channel and Raven's Home. Anneliese van der Pol has a Dutch background and is an American actor and singer best known for her frequent appearances on the popular television series That's So Raven. The actress was featured in a variety of projects, including TV shorts and videos. Her major credit includes Shalom Sesame Divorce. She has performed in over fifteen TV shows. The 2010 vampire spoof Vampires Suck, directed by Jason Friedberg Aaron Seltzer featured her in the lead role. Van der Pol was able to land her first TV role in 2003 playing the innocent Chelsea Daniels, starring with Raven-Symone Orland Brown and Kyle Massey. Chelsea Daniels continues to be Van der Pol's most well-known and renowned role amongst teenagers, children and adults. Critics praised her ability to create a character that was both extroverted, and somewhat dumb-witted. Some initially thought that it was impossible due to her previous important role. In 2006, she played Heather as Heather in Kim Possible. This was one of the actress' first voice-overs. The year was 2011. van der Pol played Ronnie as a guest on Disney Channel Original Shake It Up. When it comes to music, concerned, van der Pol collaborated with Raven Symone and Orlando Brown in the song That's So Raven on the soundtrack to the show. Over It is a song that she wrote for Stuck in Suburbs which is a Disney Channel Original Movie. Van der Pol performed pop/R&B versions of The Lion King Circle of Life and Cinderella A Dream Is a Wish My Heart Makes, as part of The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. In 2006, she recorded a cover version of the iconic Disney song Candle on the Water from Pete's Dragon for an upcoming edition of Disneymania. She has recorded a variety of tracks from the show which included A Change in Me.
